The Oromo Youth Association of British Columbia is established to promote economic development opportunities and initiatives for the Oromo youth and the Oromo community in British Columbia. The association aims to provide educational assistance and encourage positive role models among Oromo youth. It seeks to bring together and strengthen solidarity among Oromo people in the province, contributing to the development of a resilient and healthy community. Additionally, the association strives to preserve and promote Oromo culture and language among the youth, ensuring they maintain their identity and heritage. It also advocates for the human rights of Oromo youth, asylum seekers, and refugees in Canada and beyond, and helps new Oromo immigrants settle in British Columbia and adapt to life in Canada.

Join us for weekly soccer pickup games, every saturday from 4:00pm to 8:30 pm. The games are held during Spring and spring.
